Meet Our Teachers

Miss Sue

Sue has taught in the Temecula/Murrieta area for over 25 years. Dancing since the age of 3, Sue has collected a Lifetime of experience both on the dance floor and behind the scenes, creating a special environment enjoyed by so many at Miss Sue's Dance Company.

She started at a small studio in Newport Beach, where she found her passion for dance. She was soon asked to join their traveling dance company performing throughout Southern California. Sue has also enjoyed competing throughout Southern California's Country Swing & Ballroom circuits. She gained further perspective as a mother having her 2 daughters on competitive dance teams. She soon saw the need for a studio that could do things differently, so endeavored to create Miss Sue's Dance Company, to nurture a True Love of Dance within every dancer in a studio they can call their home.

Sierra Darling

Sierra grew up in the dance world with a mom as a dance teacher. She started dancing at the age of 3 and has experience in Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Hip-Hop, and Musical Theater. She competed for many years, winning numerous awards with her teams. In high school Sierra was on the MVHS Varsity Dance Team. After graduating she got her Communications degree from San Diego State University. Sierra has been teaching for 15 years and has experience teaching all ages and styles of dance. Sierra also choreographs for our competition teams. Her routines have won numerous awards and many 1st overalls. Sierra helps coordinate our summer and winter recitals, including choreographing our opening number and father/daughter dance. She is a proud mom of a 3 beautiful babies and can't wait to pass along her passion and love for dance to her children.

Krystal King

​Krystal King has been trained in some of the most reputable studios in southern California. Throughout her dance career she has performed in many venues ranging from professional basketball games to art galas. Krystal has received mulitpule awards for her work as both a dancer and choreographer. Once in college Krystal's passion for the arts grew. She joined Axxiom, a company in which she had the privilege to travel and perform all over the country. She became well known in the San Diego area for her high energy and sassy stage presence. While dance is one of her greatest passions, teaching is second to none. Krystal finds extreme joy in inspiring up and coming artists to love performing as she does. She Currently resides in Wildomar CA with her loving little family, where she coaches dance at Temecula Valley High school and raises her spunky three year old Karagen. Krystal is excited to continue sharing her quirky and energetic style with the MSDC family.

Savannah Fafard

Savannah has attended Miss Sue's Dance Company for over 10 years. She has trained in many styles such as jazz, lyrical, hiphop, contemporary, and ballet. She has also competed with our studio for numerous years. In high school, Savannah was a part of the varsity dance and pom team. She became captain her senior year and loved being able to work with dancers who were just as passionate and hardworking as her. Savannah has a huge love and passion for dance and is more than thrilled to share that same passion to her students.  

Sarah Schechter

Sarah has been dancing all her life, and it has turned into one of her biggest passions. She grew up dancing at Miss Sues, and has developed a profound knowledge of technique and terminology. She continues to dance for the company, winning many awards for her performances in high levels of competition. Sarah has now continued down her path to a professional career by studying musical theatre at Palomar College, all while getting cast in regional productions ranging from Little Shop of Horrors to Phantom of the Opera. She is thrilled to pass down her love and passions for dance to younger generations; hoping to provide a loving environment for all her students. 

Joey Swizek

Joey fell in love with dance at a young age, and it continues to be a big part of her life. As a child she competed in numerous hip hop competitions, continually placing in the top ten. Having danced with several studios in Southern California, her training includes ballet, tap, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and modern. In her sophomore year of High School she became captain of the nationally ranked MVHS dance team. Joey's talent has enabled her to perform in many venues from California to Florida. Her travels also include London, Zurich, Dubai, and Uganda where she established a children's dance program to help orphans of Kampala. She now desires to share that experience and passion with people who love dance as much as she does.

Kendall King

Kendall King is a world class acrobatic gymnast with many years of experience in competitive acrobatics as well as recreational tumbling and coaching, and a passion for sharing her love of the sport. Kendall started recreational tumbling at the age of 3 after climbing on top of the refrigerator to eat the cookies. With the safety of a spring floor accomplished, she was able to learn and grow very quickly and was first recruited to her gym’s competitive acrobatics team at the age of 6. She spent 9 years training, in which time she was named to the Junior Olympic National Team 3 years, National Team 2 years, and Worlds Team in her final year before retiring from the sport. Competing both nationally and internationally allowed her to observe other coaching styles to bring back and add to her extensive training in health and safety for recreational coaching. Kendall has seen great success in creating a program and environment where children are encouraged and supported both by their coach and their peers as they learn new skills safely and at their own pace. 

Bailey Tiger

Bailey Tiger has been dancing for 17 years. She enjoys all areas of dancing with some of her favorites including jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, jazz funk and character. She is currently a student at MSJC studying psychology. Bailey believes in positive reinforcement and encouragement which she holds close and tries to make them her core values in teaching. Her main goal in the classroom is to create a fun and safe learning environment for all students.
